OK I have a foxcone mobo it is out of an alienware computer. My problem is the when i go to find my max Reference clock. OK i started trying to use both my bio and ntune. B/c my mobo is 100% compatible with Ntune. OK i got it up to 280 before i had to drop the HT Multiplier down to 4x using ntune. So i rebooted and put the new setting in the bios. CPU multiplier is at 5x ram is set to DDR2 400 and the HT is at 4x and the reference clock i set to 280 in the bios it boots just fine and passes a 2min. othos test. So i start o over clock with ntune again i get it to 350 in ntune and my computer reboots it has passed a 2min othos test at 345 so i go to put the new setting in the bios. So i drop the Ht down to 3x and raise the Reference clock to 345 and it doesn't post. so I thought it was just to much of a jump. So my bios reloads the default setting and i try it take it to 282 to see what it will do and it still wont post with my HT set at 3x or 4X. I set every thing back to 280 the CPU at 5x and ram to DDR2 400 and the HT to 4X It boots. So i go into Ntune and raise the reference clock back to 345 and check it with CPU-z and the setting have taken affect and it has now pasted a 30 orthos blend test. So why wont it post when i put it into the bios but it will work in NTune? Cpu-z is showing everything correctly
