Q6700 + XFX 680i LT SLI Overclocking

Hi I recently bought a new rig and overclocked it and I have a question to ask. First here is the general setup:

Intel Q6700 + Thermalright Ultima-90I + Scythe S-Flex 1600rpm 120mm fan
XFX 680i LT SLI
Antec P182 (Rear, Top, HDD fans @ Low -- I also added another S-Flex as intake in the front)
EVGA 8800GT w/ Akimbo Cooler
2x 1GB OCZ Platinum DDR2 PC6400 800MHz Ram
OCZ 600W StealthXStream

I clocked it to 3.2GHz using:
8x clock and 1600MHz FSB
CPU Voltage @ 1.43V (rest on auto)
Ram (on auto) 5-6-6-18-2T

Idle Temp - 47, 45, 42, 42
Prime95 100% load at about 59/60 for Core 0 and around 55 for the rest

My question is if there anything i can change in the bios to make this more efficient (especially if it lowers temps). Also, should I lap the CPU and heatsink (I heard Intel and the Ultima both tend to have curved surfaces)

nice system u have there,... but i dont think it needs high vcore to run at 3.2, maybe u can lower it to 1.3 - 1.35v and it will reduce temps, dont forget to stress it with prime95, OCCT or Orthos to see if its stable.

thx

EDIT: please fill up your system spec

I have updated the system specs. I tried the 1.3V and 1.35V it doesn't boot. Get's stuck after it states the CPU clock speed

Have you done the pencil mod on the 680i? I have to have my vcore at around 1.48 to boot and run Windows at 3.5. I just don't think the 680i is made for overclocking quads, it just doesn't like lower voltage for ocing.

I have the same CPU, it need 1.425 to run 3.2GHz 1600x8. It wouldn't boot if vcore set in bios lower than 1.425. But I check CPU z it show vcore @ 1.368v. My temp is almost same as yours Core 0 and 1 is 45, and 2and 3 is 40. If u wanna lower ur temp, you should use another cooling solution or lower ur clock speed. What is ur VID on ur Q6700? (You can use Core temp to see it) My Q6700 has 1.2875 which is kinda high. If you have a lower one u probably can use lower vcore to run it stable. If u can get ur ram timming running @ 5-5-5-15-2T, it may perform a little better.

For some odd reason this OC stopped being stable once i run Prime95 for about 5-10mins (it used to be stable) so I downed the OC to 3.0GHz with 9x Clock and 1333MHz FSB

Idle Temp - 46, 42, 44, 42
Load Temp - 60, 55, 58, 55

VID - 1.3125V
Idle Core Voltage - 1.416V
Load Core Voltage - 1.392V

Anybody know of anyway to reduce the temperatures or get my 3.2GHz clock to run stable again?

Also, I recently noticed that my CPU Multiplier fluctuates between 9x and 6x, which will drop the 3.0GHz to 2.0GHz. When i run Prime95 then it'll stay at 9x. How do i stop this from happening?
