Thanks!

The vmware guide looks a little complicated for me

The temperatures on my cores for my Q6600 are much lower than if I were to be running Prime95 small FFT's. I would've thought that folding would be just as stressful.

Hi XFreeRollerX,

No problems with regards to your statement or anything... Our best folder is Gibby! He is the man! Some day when I grow up, I'm gonna be just like him!

The 2665's do take a lot of time on my X2's as well... It slows the Quads and Conroes down as well. As someone stated - Stanford should really take a look at how or who they have run the new WU's and the points they assign them.
Back in the old days they had the same issue of points vs time to complete with the older FAH client running the 21xx series of Gromac cores. A lot of complaining about the time difference vs points on those 2106's vs the 2107 and the 2108's... Some days you were lucky to get 90ppd per WU!!!

Take care and Fold On!

Wait till I get my x2 3800 and an internet connection.

every lil 200MHZ and everything I have around my house is gonna fold their hearts out!

I guarantee at least 3 PCs (200mhz - 1GHZ range)

+ my x2 3800+

All folding together (the 3 lil ones 24/7).

That should be a lil sum sum in the bottom of the bucket

Thread Starter
I had a 2665 unit but it was not that much slower... roughly 30 seconds per % slower than the usual 1760's ... but then again 30 seconds for me is a huge percent considering the times I get on my Dual core.. But I cant imagine them being much more points, like someone suggested 3k or so.
