Watercooling Gcards

Thread Starter
Hi guys, i currently have a H20 220 Apex kit, and i'm planning to Watercool my 2 GPU's too..

I have dual radiator, 1 pump.
It will be watercooling my CPU @ 3.8ghz, and my 2 GPUs.

Here is a problem, im not sure if a 2 slot radiator can handle it, and on top of that, i have no idea what GPU waterblock to get, i want to link them both togather without using a tube and bending it all the way...

Yes a 240 rad will not cope.

You could always add a 360 rad to your loop to fix this. As for GPU blocks, if you want something you can keep after an upgrade, grab 2 MCW60's as well as some ram and mosfets sinks. You can connect the two blocks in sequence with some long tubing as opposed to what you proposed.

ah.. what's a good radiator that'll fit my Antec 900?

I might buy a new case soon, a case that i can fit dual slot radiator inside, and dual radiator on the Inside of the case [side panel]

If you want to cool and Quad and 2 GPU's you're gonna want AT LEAST a 360 rad if not dual rads. There's no way you can fit it in an Antec 900 though. If you get a new case I'd recommend the Cosmos, awesome for internal WC'ing. You can fit a 360 and 240 internally. I have 2 240's internally and it works out well.

I have a 360GTX on the way and i currently have a 240. I was told that the 240 would hold you back on the loop. YOu could just get a 360 and it should be enough fall all your stuff on one loop.

For the GPU block, don't get a full cover. Theyre nice and flashy but just get a swiftech or D-Tek GPU block and some ramsinks. The full cover brinks back hot water from your memory that can be cooled with ramsinks. A lot cheaper too

You're not screwed. It's not THAT big of a difference. Plus for SLI the difference is even smaller as you are using less tubing.
Yeah, I'm not trash talking full cover blocks or anything, don't get me wrong. Also, i did not see he had SLI, so the blocks like PuffinMyLye said would be good. The only problem I have with full covers is their price...

Na you'll be fine. A full cover or just a block are still better than nothing
