Asus Xonar question...

Thread Starter
I am tied between an X-Fi xtreme gamer fatal1ty profressional and the Asus Xonar...

The trouble is that as I have SLI GTX's I only have one free standard PCI slot. No PCI E 1x or anything....

I would only want the best Xonar which I beleive is only PC1 E 1x, Is there a Xonar that can emulate newer EAX and uses PCI?

I have only found the D2 version but...

Apparently with the newer drivers it can emulate EAX 3,4 and even 5:

ASUS Xonar D2/PM Audio Driver V6.12.8.1725-RC02

Is this correct?
