Title update didn't work for me... Said I had a wrong version. So I'm guessing when Windows Live updated it must have done that... No clue.

Yeah I had those crashes but only at the loading screen. Otherwise worked like a charm on my computer.

It certainly is coded very cleverly in that it doesn't use top of the line technicals to achieve fantastic graphics, but it still looks so damn good. I could absolutely max it out (with DX10 and max AA) and my framerate was about 40.

The game itself I adored. It was so different. My favorite parts would have the be the cart ride and the train wreck one.

yes i used to have this problem, so i called microsoft, and they provided me with a solution. I was playing the game by clicking on the start menu and then clicking on the cd and playing. The person at microsoft informed me that this was the problem, and that you should run the game by going to the start menu, and then the games tab, where solitare and chess r located. and then run the game off the short cut in that location. it seemed like a stupid answer to my problem, but it worked. havent had any problems since, and i have played it through 3 times

Seems like it stopped crashing on me today, weird. But I got 2 new problems now:

1. When I started the game I created an account but it didn't ask for my cd-key, then I clicked "sign up for live" and it said "new window will open..." then the game freezes.

2. I tried creating a new account but this time it asked for my e-mail/password and cd-key so I entered them. Then the game downloaded the "live update" and the game froze. I rebooted my computer, ran the game and clicked on "sign in with different account", tried to log in with my e-mail/password but it says that "windows live is disconnected".

I can still play the game under the first account but I can't sign up for live nor can I sign in to a different account with my e-mail/password. Has anyone faced these problems?

I love this game, but cannot play it on the gfx card in my sig rig. Keep getting the live error, and it crashes.

I even tried a fresh install of XP with the new nVidia drivers and GoW as the only thing installed. Patched it and everything, but still no go.

I swapped my video card with a ATI 1950 pro and it runs fine, so far.

I have gotten the "windows low on memory" message a couple of times with this game. It kicks me out of the game, I just have to click on the tab to re-maximize it, but dang that's annoying. 3.5 Gigs, huh? There's gotta be a memory leak somewhere.

Hehe, I was just playing more of this game today. Great game and graphics. Though I don't care for some of the key commands. But it is a very fun game.
