CS:S Worth it?

Thread Starter
Hey, i have and played normal CS many years ago and have been bored

lately. You guys think there is that much of a difference or worth it to drop

$20 on Source? I mean back in the day it seemed like there was at least one

hacker on every server. Is this any better or worse in Source? Any inputs

from guys who play it would be greatly appreciated.

It's pretty fun but it can sometimes get a bit boring.
TF2 is also really fun and also runs on the source engine.
Imho, I'd use the $ to buy TF2, if you don't already have it.

Yeah, I already have TF2 which i enjoy, just gets a bit boring when my clan doesn't

have matches. Also i could max this game easily so is it worth it to kill sometime and

possibly get competitive later?
For $20 you cant go wrong buying CS:S. Granted there are better things that could be done with the money (i.e. feeding yourself) but if you're looking for a good twitch shooter thats easy to just pick up and play then you'll have a blast.

CS:S is one of those kind of timeless multiplayer games, a bit like Halo or Smash Bros. It will have a huge following until the new sequel comes out (who know when that'll be for CS) and even after.

I love CSS, and highly recommend it. CS is one of those games that I never get bored of. Like I really like TF2 a lot, but after a while I get kind of bored of it for a while and I go play more CSS.

I definitely recommend it.
