YEP!!! I shot you rep for posting that!!! im planning on using a bottle lol I just wanna build a really nice bottle...maby put some lights on it or something lol maby just paint a big pot leaf on it I dont know lol

after seeing that volcano I understand that the sky is the limit for a res. I guess I could kill 2 birds with one stone by building a bong/res...but that would require a much nicer pump.

im looking for something thats cool to look at but also is homemade goodness!

maby ill take a plastic bottle and make a base mount for it so it looks store bought???

someone should make a thread with all the cool stuff people make, or just a list of links to everyones fav threads...Ive been spending 6+ hours a day reading through endless threads here! I find myself all over the place with +10windows open. lol

maby ill heat up a clear plastic box and let it melt off the table like this
use that as a res, hang it off the side of my case.

Man there is a whole forums here full of good threads, that would be one long thread to list them all...

I've always liked those melted clocks...Melting down bottles or a box might get you some pretty cool looking results...You might be able to melt multiple colors together to, melt some designs in it anything really....

I agree there are alot of great threads and it would take a long time to list them but what im talking about is like...best res -volcano, best homemade block, most creative rad mod or case mod or whatever...I dont know nevermind I guess...sometimes I type while im half awake or half passed out.

I was hoping to keep the res clear so you could view the water flowing down the side of my tower. ill put UV in it, most likely green. If I can get a good sag/droopy look to it I bet it would look pretty damn cool.

Or how bout a hand blown glass heart...with like 5 inputs on it...I bet that would look off the hook. put red liquid in it!

I know what you mean, it would be nice to have them indexed like that..I'm sure you have already looked in the stickies in the case mod sections, that usually has the newest best ones...

Torch it up and see what you can get...

oh man I just saw your cap sprayer...I need to figure out how to throw one of those into my block before I seal it up...right now as you can see I only have an open end...I wonder if I can find a barb with a sprayer or jet on the end of it?!?

I bet fstfrddy would make you one pretty cheap, if he has the time...Yeah thats a sick 3/4" jet barb he put on my block.....I get some major flow and turbulence with the Iwaki pump and dual outs on the block...

You could probably make one out of a little piece of brass sheet, say 20 gauge, drill it or punch it full of little holes and solder to the end of a brass barb...

Hey one thing before i forget it, I wouldn't use a used heater core or car rad, they get full of scale build-up, that junk can break loose at any time and plug up your loop....You can buy a new Bonnie core for $20 bux or so...

Always set a shut down temp in your bios if your mobo supports it...If not you can set one in Speed-Fan...That way if something goes wrong your rig will hopefully shut down instead of frying your chip...

That would look sweet. So I'm guessing you're going for an anotomically correct heart?

yeah I would have him blow it to look like a real heart...even put in some vains but I would like it to be mostly see through for effect of blood flowing through.

I will try to make a little brass fitting for the barb I have. Thats a good idea if I can get it to stick. Im thinking I should have bought barbs with threads on them. this is not a problem though they were cheep and i can use them anywere in the loop.

Your right about the old car rad. I think I could just get my pops to grab me a new one from his wholesale supplyer...dont most car repair shops have those? lol

I am far from putting the block on my rig...I dont even have any hose for it yet lol I still need to solder the block together and all that...im just playing with ideas on res's and little things I may overlook in the build prossess.
