I'd say get the Zalman 9700 for 2 good reasons over the TRUE

1. Its lighter, and the installation method for AM2 motherboards is absolutely brilliant! So so so easy to install it or take it off, yet giving a tight and secure fit

2. You don't need super-duper amazing cooling on an AMD CPU, the Zalman 9700 will do you more than fine

3. It looks better ^^

*Takes deep breath in preparation for a lot of typing/explanation*

In all honesty, your CPU doesn't constitute a Monster Heatsink... You only really need a TRUE or IFX-14 if you're going all out to cool say... a 65nm quadcore without resorting to water cooling...

A Tuniq Tower, OCZ Vendetta 2 or Xigmatek HDT-S1283 will be more than enough to cooling for your CPU to achieve maximum overclocks... they're also a good deal cheaper than a TRUE or IFX-14

HOWEVER, I'm the kind of guy who gives practical advice yet goes along with the theory of "your money, your purchase".... With that in mind, if your heart is set on one of the above killer heatsinks for that bling/e-peen extension, here's my opinion:

The TRUE will achieve roughly the same temperatures as the IFX-14... the catch is that due to the tight fin spacing of the TRUE, you'll need high pressure, high CFM, high dBA and more expensive 120x38 fans... the IFX-14 achieves equivalent cooling through having a larger surface area than the TRUE... this means that the fin spacing is a bit more sparse - which equates to the IFX-14 requiring less CFM, less dBA, and less expensive fans to achieve decent cooling

I'm willing to admit that the TRUE will achieve better temperatures (3-5ish C estimate) than the IFX if they're both loaded with 2 120x38s rated for 100+ CFM.... however, if you'd like to use quieter ~>80CFM, ~>30dBA 120x25s, the IFX-14 would beat the TRUE by an estimated 5-7C

OCZ Vendetta 2 and you wont be sorry and that's a promise, If your not happy with it, I'll buy it for every penny you spent on it. (only spples to dead_j0ker)

If you're concern about height, try the Thermalright Ultima 90. I use it since I have side fans on my CM830 case. Very good reviews for the Ultima 90. Pretty much a 120 without the height.
