Currently at 1680x1050 20" widescreen but will be getting a 24" widescreen samsung at 1920x1200.

I basicly try and play all new games that fancy me. RPG's,FPS,MMO's.

At 1920x1200 I'd go for a 9800GTX, 8800GTS 512 or 9600GT SLI set up and that should be fine for the year

Spend 1000 now and 1000 later always. Never future proof. Get a computer that can perform exactly at the level you want it to. Pro tip.

x2 my 9800GTX plays most of my games on high on the same res. of 1920x1200, but I'm already thinking about getting a second one and SLI them. The new
GT280 in my opinion, is overpriced right now even though it's supposed to be one hell of a card.
