Temps - which one do I trust!!??

Thread Starter
hi,

I have a Q9450 running on an ASUS P5E3 with a Thermalright Ultra120 Extreme.

I have Speedfan 4.34
Real Temp 2.5
Coretemp 0.99

They are arguing with each other......

Speedfan Real Temp Core Temp
Core0 51 41 56
Core0 41 31 41
Core0 32 28 37
Core0 39 34 40

Any advice on software levels or which software is more reliable?

thanks
-Conor

Go for coretemp, that seems to be the most proven and most accurate

Go with CoreTemp for an Intel CPU. Speedfan has actually been fixed for Intel C2D series but Coretemp will be the most accurate still IMO.
