FSB question

Thread Starter
Ok im running P05 and i can get my PC to post at 1740 FSB for CPU but when it gets to the select screen, F1 to continue DEL for setup it stays on a sec the restarts by itself does it need more volts or what? It ends up doing it forever it post goes to select screen then retarts in a endless cycle seems like it runs out of power or something i know i asked before but im wondering if there are any other suggestions out there.

PS im posting at 3.0 GHZ just trying to up the FSB

It could be a few things

1: It needs more CPU vcore.
2: Your NB volts need raising.
3: You have hit a FSB limit for the chip <----------- Likely.

Please be aware you maybe being a little over optimistic with a 65nm Quad, they aren't so nice with high FSB and you could be hitting a wall.
