8800GS Amazing Benchies - Page 2

Very impressive results! The 8800GS is an excellent GFX card, especially for the price.

With results like that, it looks like you'll probably be playing most any other game completely maxed out. For 100 bucks, you can't go wrong.

Oh, I am using 169.32 Driver.
I have 731/1827/1960 and I'm using 169.32 but when I benchmark with Crysis I only get +30FPS at 1024x768 with Max settings.

Check out my previous post with pictures of benchmarks.

This is very strange. In theory you rig should be better than my setup. Try lowering overclock?

I don't particularly trust the Crysis Benchmark. I've gotten higher at 1680x1050 than at 1280x1024 one time. Mind running some 3dmark06?

Edit: Nevermind saw your sig. Well that means it's pretty damn equal to my 9600GT. Not quite close to the 8800GT yet though. Although I dare say the 9600GT should beat it in real game performance.

Well that benchmark was with your exact mobo 965P-DS3 rev 3.3 at 3.2 Ghz with value ddr2 800 ram. I just the DFI DK recently and my DDR2 1066 memory literally this week so I have yet to benchmark again.

they are similar. i will find the chart and post it. inmost of the test the 9600 won over the gs. except crisi at that resolution.
also they are changing the name fron 8800 gs to 9600 gso.
