BloodIron Issue!

Thread Starter
I need help with this issue ASAP!

Just got a BloodIron motherboard for my dad's CAD build. Its all working just fine...except the chipset fan I installed is SUPER loud!!!! It's plugged into the 3 pin motherboard header...and according to the manual, it can be controlled via temperatures (like the CPU fan). However...that option is not there! What's wrong with it? Can it be enabled somehow so the fan can be turned down on its own?

I've tried google, DFI's support page, different fan headers, Speedfan....nothing is working! I even tried to call DFI in California...but they're closed. I called their main headquarters in Taiwan even...but I seem to have made a mistake methinks in dialing....it ended up being a "hot ***, man on man" number....so I quickly hung up! I think they need to fix that on their "Contact Us" page on the DFI's website...or make it more plain on how to dial it, lol.

Anyways....any ideas on what I can do to turn this fan down? Oh...and BTW...running the stock shipped BIOS (don't know what it is).

My little 40mm I strapped to the nb on mine runs at 7145rpm...its louder than my 120mm/137cfm delta fan. On my old dfi you could control it though smart guardian, but I can't seem to make that work on this one. I have no clue either, I was just going to buy one of those cheap fan fanmate fan controllers on my next newegg order.
