geforce 7800 gt sli overheating?

i have a nforce 4 sli motherboard, i have 2 evga geforce 7800gt's in sli with all updates and any game i play will freeze after 10 min of play is this a heating issue? i have about 5 fans in my case not including my video card fans and processor.

When was the last time you took the cards apart and made sure the thermal paste wasn't dust on the GPU. If it sits to long it just dries up and then doesn't work. Also, may just be dust sitting in the card as well. I would suggest this over Arctic Silver 5 for the GPU as it is not conductive at all. Try that first. Or a new VGA cooler maybe needed. I had this one on an old 7800GT. Works_good
