8 series are becoming CRAP's ?

Well i remember i bought my 8800gt for 430 bucks. They are now down to 130....

So,is it really worth a 8800gt?I dont know.Must we change soon enough?Really dont know,i am asking to you.

While the GT200's release date coming like sun light coming to earth,we still have much better performance with OC performance than a 9600gt,but 9800gt?8 series are getting really old,and not everyone can have money for it.

So lets just say,for how many years will 8800gt hold up to new games? And is it going to be popular in next 2 years?

wow where did you buy a 8800GT for $430 most at launch cost $300 but any way no the 8 series are not crap they can max out any game except cryis but it is poorly optimized. You see right when you buy something new a few months or even weeks newer and better stuff is out you just can't keep up. And yes the 8800GT should last you 2 more years

AND yes the 8800GT is worth it, it is the most bang for buck card ever made so far but idk where you paid $430 for it :O rip off

The 8800 GTS is still the best card for the money. In you're case, I'd just SLI, way enough for any current game given you aren't on a 30 inch screen.

I paid $299 for my GT SC the 1st day they were available (10/30/07)
I still think it's one of the best bang-for-the-buck cards, especially now.
A good move would be to just get another GT or sell it and get a 8800GTS 512. The price has also come down on them and basically a 8800GTS is a 9800GTX, Just like the 8800GS is now a 9600GSO, and the 8800GT will soon be the 9800GT also.

It is Turkey here, btw i maxed out crysis (very high sett.) at a playable frame rate with a 1gb GT.Still at high settings i play at 35,which is good and enough for me.Again,in Turkey,9800gx2's are 980 bucks.

I am bumping the thread. It looks like GT200 is 3x better than a 8800gt.What should i do...Sell my 8800gt before gt200 comes to turkey for 300bucks and order a gt200 from america at june18th for like 250-300 bucks?

GT200 ie; GTX 260 and GTX 280 are going to be pretty pricey. The GTX 280 for example will cost a bit more than a 9800GX2 did at launch.

So how much are they,so i am asking should i sell at 12-13 june and order a gt200 at 16 from USA?
from everyones estimates the 280 will be around 600 and the 260 around 450. So i assuming that to get it to turkey, you are looking at a good amount for shipping. I paid 304 on 1st day for a EVGA 8800gt SC. I still love that card.
