I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt since I'm also running custom scripts on my sig rig at about 25-30 fps at 1440x900 (res turned down one notch). It's doable, just not with AA... at least in my case.

ROFL I know right? Even after it was released some people bought Tri-SLI just to be able to run everything at Very High......the shader settings is the real killer. I run practically everything at very high or high (except shadows and water) and I get 40-65 FPS on average, sometimes higher.

I can't believe this thread. I got Crysis just about the day it came out. I played it for about three weeks, and was horribly disappointed by it.

I got on OCN and started a thread stating how disappointed I was with the gameplay and coding, and got flamed to hell because of it. Everybody was still so hyped up on the game that they were blind to the fact that it actually sucked. I could understand how some people could be so adamant about admitting Crysis was a failure. They had spent hundreds, if not, thousands of dollars to play the game optimized, and were still left with a stupid game that they did not enjoy playing.

Point finally proven.

I could not agree more. If Crysis wasn't as hyped up as it was than it would of been passed as a poorly coded mediocre pc shooter.

its not all mine i just did some cut and paste and then tweaked it a little bit by adding and subtracting a few things and adding the presets to my liking. but yeah, give it a go. it should work really well with your 8800GTX

edit: i havent played it since i first got my 2 9600gt
