Coolermaster CM690 Cable Management Help

Thread Starter
I know that there are a ton of threads about he CM690, but none about how you guys can manage cable management. I dont have a modular PSU so its pretty hard to have a good system. It's pretty important for me because I've got a big GPU and a oc'ed CPU so IT GETS HOT!

So What kinda of cable management systems do you guys have??

Thanks!

I had the same problem. I placed the PSU so it was "upside down" ran the wires, all except the GPU and Motherboard 20/24 pin, through the little opening on the motherboard holder.

I then cut the rounded lip towards the drive bays and stuffed all the excess witing under the hard drive. Pictures coming in a few.

cable ties and insulation tape

you need a bit of trail and error m8, run as much as you can behind the mobo to stop it blocking your airflow and if you can put it in the bottom of the hdd rack.

old pic but only thing reall thats changed it the mobo.

Close up of the PSU in relation to the MOBO tray. I had to fight with the cables to get them so they went in properly.

Back side of mobo tray.

The lip I cut to make the side panel close better.

Overall wiring managment. Not bad, not great.

Hope this helps!
