Unstable Overclock? Or Bad HDD?

Thread Starter

Took me 3 hours to get that pretty stable...

I've been getting random pc lockups, not BSODs, nothing of the usual "overclocking instability" symptoms

what i have noticed is that when the freeze occurs, the HDD light stops and the entire screen is frozen cant move mouse, etc.

I tested the RAM in memtest86(+) and i got 1 error but it doesn't seem relevant at this moment..

Any ideas?
-Thanks ahead of time

Those Tracers don't need 2.2 for 850mhz. That's what I use for 1100mhz.
Test with only 2dimms.

I've been having a similar issue. I isolated it to core or northbridge voltage. because I lowered both to try to get as low as possible on the voltages. Runs fine now i've bumped the voltage back up.
