But seriously, couldnt you just withdraw the money and hide it somewhere?

That parts list looks fine except you should probably upgrade the PSU while you're at it. Also, ive heard that the crucial ballistix that have shipping out recently are poor overclockers. If this is true and you plan on overclocking the ram, you might want to look into another brand (g.skill, mushkin, corsair, etc.).

I have no experience with that one, but here is what I have:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341002

I would say go with the OCZ because its cheaper, and pretty popular (as well as reliable).

Ram wise i would stay away from ballistix.

They are dieing easily had a pair die within 2 months !

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231098

Much better option imo

PSU wise i think 500 watt is fine for a 8800GT hell a 450watt could even do it.

Quality wise i dunno about ure PSU a good choice for a upgrade would be these:

G.Skill gets my vote aswell, my HK's are great for overclocking

Hate to rain on this parade, but you'd better take that money and turn it into cash and put it in your mattress or something because the American economy is headed for a tough time this year and next and you may need that money for food and other necessities. Or, you could just invest in one ounce of gold (900$) and watch that grow quickly enough. Just go to your local bank and ask them to buy one ounce of gold (physical delivery).

Why even bring up discussion of where the money is from, this forum isn't the best place for that type of discussion where moral/life issues come into play.

Just tell us the amount you have to spend and leave it at that.
