my crysis benchies, single 3870.try running the assault test, the default gpu benchmark depends too much on data I/O and in riva tuner i don't even see 100% gpu usage during the benchmark run.

Crysis isn't a game

Its a state that your PC is in... and your mind when seeing numbers next to "FPS"

Crap, rig is down. Lapped my new E8500, pulled the waterblock, noticed some "wax" on top of the video card (thank GOD it didn't touch fiberglass/traces/electronics), on the back plate, and also noticed a huge crack that goes from one fitting on the block to the other and out to the outside, where it obviously has been leaking. Just ordered the Swiftech Apogee GTX CU, considered the TEC version, but doesn't work real well at anything over 155w heat, so I figured I'd stay safe, get a good waterblock and call it a day. Going on a cruise all next week, so it should get here Friday, and will be back up next weekend. Will check in on you guys tomorrow! Thanks for the responses!

Damn the 3870X2 is weak....

This is anoying because I am considering getting an intel board and having a crossfire set up after loads of issue's with SLI GTX's and nforce boards.

Just got done doing the ol Visiontek bios update on both cards, saved the bioses after flashing, and then edited them to run 891/999 on all 4 cores. I ran several tests as I flashed each card individually. Results are damn disappointing. Obviously, I might as well run Crysis with 1 3870x2 than running quadfire, because I gained very little. Results are as follows, sorry for the long post, just want some feedback. Is there anything I can do to help the situation? Is Crysis THAT bad at scaling? Help? =) Thanks again guys.

Mind you, I really don't care about DX10 mode, I will NEVER run this game in ultra, obviously... none of us do at that resolution, that is why all of my benchies are dx9.
