Bang for Buck 1080p

Thread Starter
So, I'm getting a PS3, and my roommate has a 360, so now we're looking at getting a 1080p TV this summer. It pretty much has to be over 37", run full 1080p, and preferably have at least 3 HDMI inputs, and the budget is $1,500 or less. I know Samsungs are great, but Inch for Inch they are considerably pricier. So, what are the best bang for buck monitors that still give great picture? The farther below $1,500 the better. It is my absolute max, and I would rather spend closer to $1,100 if at all possible.

Thanks,
pow3rtr1p

Sharp Aquos 42" or 46", both should be in your price range if you shop around. Amazing picture quality and bang for the buck. I use the 42" as one of my monitors for my computer - beautiful picture.

A good idea is to go into a big box retailer and look at the TV's on the wall to see which ones you really like. I had no idea how VAST the differences between the sets were until I saw them all lined up next to each other.

You can typically get them for less elsewhere, but it's good for comparison.
