If you use 128k stripe, it means each file is broken up into 128k chunks and distributed between each drive. It's faster to break a file up into 128k chunks than 64k ect.

The stripe is the bits of data that is spread across multiple drives. You are going to see the best performance with 128k stripe if you are working with larger files. If you are working with tons of files that are 64k and smaller then use 64k. Either way, the performance difference will only be noticeable in HD benchmarks, not real life. My vote is to just go with a 128k stripe. That is what I have.
