I know it could be dangerous if touched the wrong way. I would do no such thing, though. It would just be another product, that you don't have to buy or use if you don't want to.

The airflow demonstration video of the SS fan (a very small one at that) looked quite decent. And it could presumable be increased by upping the power.

Apparantly for its size it puts out 2-3 times more airflow than a 'comparible fan' and can cool a 25watt load. More than enough for an intel atom/via C3.

Of couse the whole voltage/ozone thing could be a setback.

Don't know if this was mentioned, but these solid state fans have very little air pressure, making these types of fans only good in situations where there is open air on both sides of the fan. They wouldn't work well on heatsinks or radiators.
