Did you read through the original guide I linked to?.... I realize that it's pertaining to dual core, but the basics and terminology to overclocking are all laid out pretty well.... and the basic principles would be the same.

Here's some more info that may also be helpful to you:

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=167977

.... and I'm sure that some of the Phenom OC'ers here will jump in to help as well.

Welcome to OCing. I am gonna keep an eye on this thread. If you get enough idea about OCing then start to play in the bios. First Disable CoolnQuiet in the bios. Then Set the following

CPU multi 11x
Reference clock 220 (Initially, then u can go higher)
NB freq. 7x
PCIe auto/100
HT link 1.4 ghz
RAM 3.3x / 667 mhz(one step down so that when ocing ultimately u will reach the near actual speed)

Voltages keep them at stock first to see how far can u go. Then later on u can add some voltage to ur cpu ram and NB for much higher OC.
Hope that helps.
