Well here is a link.
http://www.giga-byte.com/FileList/Ne...ech_a_bios.htm
Download the @bios software and the F6 bios. Unzip the bios. Install the @bios and follow the instruction on the webpage linked above.

The second way which i prefer is that download the bios. Unzip it. Inside the unzipped folder u will find a file something like MA79FXDS5.F6 copy this file into a floppy. Now reboot the system. When the system posts at reboot press END key. The motherboard has a built in flash utility called Q-Flash. When you press END the flash utility will start. Meanwhile don't forget to keep the floppy with the new bios file inside the floppy drive. Now u will see a window with 3 options. Select the last one to save a copy of ur current bios. Then select the 2nd option to flash the new bios. When u select the 2nd option it will show you the bios files already saved inside the floppy. Select the one that u downloaded and follow the onscreen instructions. Thats all. Remember what i said before. After flashing into the new bios go to the bios and load optimum performance setting for the first time and boot. Then you can reboot and change ur settings inside the bios.
Hope that helps

also: Sweet 3025 seeing every site says this is risky, is it required for me to do this if i want to continue with over clocking?
Upgrading to the new bios may give you better OC stability and options. After i upgraded my bios my system overclocks better. Yap bios flashing is risky. But ur mobo has a backup bios. If anything goes wrong it will rollback into the old bios. I wont suggest u to use @bios software mentioned in the gigabyte website. It is crappy. First time when i tried with that the flashing went wrong and the system crashed. But the mobo automatically rolled back to the old bios after i restarted. Then i pulled out a floppy drive from an Old athlon system and connected it and flashed the bios and then pulled it out from this system again. It was like walking on the cake.

Give it a try. Burn the bios file in a cd and use the q-flash to see if reads from the cd. Even if u can flash it from cd u won't be able to save the old bios. Anyway if u need u can always download it from gigabyte website

Yap a bootable cd will work though. U have to create a bootable cd then u have to put the bios file and the Awarg flash utility in the same cd. boot from the cd execute the award flash utility with the bios file. Unfortunately i don't know which version of award flash utility u have to use for this gigabyte mobo+bios. couldn't find anything on the gigabyte website.
