Can't get past 3.3GHZ

Thread Starter
I tried 3.4ghz @ 1.45v, cpu-z said 1.39v. FSB overvoltage +0.1 and the G(MCH) +0.1. Prime95 ran for about 50 mins before crashing. Also my system was running at 65*C under stress.

what is your memory specs?

When running P95, were you using Blend, Small FFT or Large FFT?

How were you trying to achieve 3.4Ghz? 340x10? 378x9? 425x8?

My Ram SPD is set to auto, and DDR2 volts is set to normal
post #9 of 25
yep, set the ram speed to 800, or 1066 or w/e's close to the normal speed.

I looked at your other thread and noticed you had a fairly large VRDroop. Focus on Memory and FSB Voltage maybe up each a notch or 2 for now, and you can still afford to raise VCore if required, though fixing that Droop would help, either with a setting in the BIOS or a hard pencil Mod fix.

I have your RAM, why don't you set it to 5,5,5,15 in the BIOS.
