No. The 7.5 multi will kill the mobo if you plan on getting about 3.0Ghz.

i say g0 for q6600. obviously the e8400 could be faster. does overclock high but as i see it the q6600 is a really good performer and it will be much better at multitasking. my flatmate has a e8400 and we play same games pretty much and always really get same frame rates, dont think there will be that much difference.

but if you want to overclock q6600 you'll def need better than stock cooling, my experience with air cooling is i can get q6600 to about 3.6 and ive seen the e8400 at 3.8-4.0. but as has been said no games will really do more than 2 cores at the moment. shame
