Its bad enough that we have 'outsiders' aka 'non-gamers' look at the gaming industry in a condescending way and people like you provide much insight as to why that is. We can't even respect our brethren gamers in a way that we should, no wonder people like Jack Trenton, Roger Ebert and at a time, Hillary Clinton are prejudice against gamers in general.
Ignoring the definition of toy, theres no way you can exclude the PC from your assertions since you enjoy a lot of the games console gamers do or are you a hypocrite? That somehow games like COD4, ASC, DMC4, Gears of War, Oblivion etc, all shared between PC and consoles, somehow stop becoming "Toy" software just because its on what you consider a non-toy;
My good friend, a PC is a tool. It may be used for fun, but the purpose it was invented for was work and productivity.
Consoles were developed for leisure and entertainment and nothing else.
Next time you want to play the semantics game try not to poorly hide insults within your sentences.
Calling me a hypocrite for calling the PC a tool compared to a console was completely out line.Edited by GibbyGano - 6/3/08 at 2:48am
