To answer the OP's question:

I'd honestly be surprised if you were to receive a B3 (not G0) Q6600 from Newegg. AFAIK, Intel has stopped producing the inferior B3's altogether. Newegg sells at such a high volume, I'd doubt they have many (or any) B3's left at this point. But you never know. I really wouldn't be to worried about it though. The odds are probably very small.

If you want to be 100% guaranteed a Q6600 with G0 stepping, you could always order from TankGuys or ClubIT

why the heck would you pay 190 on ebay.... you can buy it at an actual store for that much and have a warranty
