yes it would be nice for a change, instead of having intel fanboys bash on AMD's current success....

It's all fine and dandy to jump on the fanboys, but to group every negative comment into that category is no less of a fanboy move than the negative comments themselves. I am not saying you are doing this, but I see others and it is hypocritical.

There is always too much tension in AMD threads. I'm not pointing at you stargate, but there are a number of members "Intel fanboys if you will" here that enjoy starting a flame war every chance they get. For those of us that enjoy AMD products it is very annoying. It does seem lately a lot of new members to site over the last few months love running off at the mouth especially between AMD and Intel.

I would honestly like to start seeing some infractions given out when these things happen. I want new members to site as much as anyone, but what I don't want to see is these people being disrespectful with no repercussions for their actions.

If some doesn't like what they see then they need to say it with facts and leave out the disrespectful comments. There is absolutely no need for it unless they want to show their immaturity. There is no need to call someone "stupid/dumb/gay or retarded" over a post or thread. Grade school kids do that.

I know catching this stuff is a big job for the Mods. So we either need more Mod's or more people need to start reporting this garbage to them.

I'm willing to bet lots of people get infractions; the posts just aren't necessarily deleted.

I think cleaning up a thread after a flame war should be done. Especially since the post(s) tend to lead into more fights. People read them and get upset all over again.

geez, can't we all play nice? if anyone has a problem with AMD, Intel, etc. then they should post a thread in the "rants & raves section" of OCN....
