No, you're missing the point. You said your Gmail is completely free of spam, and the very next sentence you say you have 543. That is contradictory no matter which way you look at it. I understood just fine that your Hotmail spam was in the inbox, thank you very much. I am referring to your contradictory remarks. Did you mean you have no spam in your Gmail inbox? There is a bit of a difference between saying you have no spam in your Gmail and saying you have no spam in your Gmail inbox...

I also understood Omega's point when I read it the first time through.

I use both, Hotmail, and Gmail. Gmail has a MUCH better spam filter than hotmail, as it puts them all nicely in its spam filter, and I only get about 1/month that makes it into my inbox. Hotmail I have had lots of problems with, trying to mark messages as spam, to try to lessen the junk I get. Never had an issue with gmail. I dont use the chat or whatnot for gmail, but I DO like how if you go to gmail.com you can see the size of your inbox increasing

I find Windows Live far too bloated, and for some reason it doesn't always load as expected (I get a loading screen that never finishes loading, and a link is provided to the "classic" version which can't seem to function correctly with my setup). At this moment in time I have no need for all the out-of-the-box synchronisation between the various applications (which appears to be the main benefit).

I would also like to point out that it is quite simple to have all mail sent to your hotmail account, that isn't on your pre-approved list, sent to your spam folder. I never get spam in my inbox yet every mail I want to reach my inbox does...

Windows Live is indeed bloated, and I have the same issues. Only reason I haven't switched to another carrier is because I don't like having multiple addresses and don't want to deal with updating everyone with any new address I get.

Gmail is completely FREE of spam - I said it, I meant it. There was no contradictory. Only someone like you would think I meant that I get not a single message of spam ANYWHERE on my account and would want to fight about it. I dont believe a single person thought that.

Now stop arguing before the fuz comes and decides to take us both out of commission.

It takes two to tango, Ghandi. And next time I'll try to read your mind better, as clearly that is the only way for me to understand your gibberish.

Gmail is so smooth, it doesn't take forever to load up and go to different boxes. It has the basics to read, write, and archive emails. I use it because it's so fast compared to the others.

I'd have to say, I love Windows Live Mail. I never (I mean NEVER) get junk mail, not even in my junk folder, I once made a Gmail account, but I got two pieces of junk mail within the first day.

Junk mail in Windows Live Mail is a myth. Seriously.

.Mac does...

I wouldn't pay for it, though.

If I get spam and it goes into the SPAM MAILBOX, then I don't consider myself "spammed." I didn't get "hit" by the spam; it didn't accomplish its goal.
