Can you guys help me out. I' lookin for a PC that can do all the basic stuff like download music, movies, surf, chat and once in awhile game a little on a $500 budget. I need everything besides speakers, LCD, keyboard, mouse.

why don't you build a $500 rig with an intel cpu and see if you get as good of an overall system....you need good cooling for overclocking, which is the only thing that makes intels better than AMD's (****AT THAT PRICE RANGE, YES I KNOW ABOVE IT AMD SUCKS****)

you would need to sacrifice graphics, ram, and possibly other expenses to get an intel system that outperforms this for $500. the only intel CPU's in the range are E2xxx and you need to OC them to get an advantage...even then its not much.

Wow. Thank you guys for the fast feed back. All i want is a solid PC thats fast for doing basic stuf and playing games once in a while. But i keep getting thrown off people tellin me to get a core 2 duo then saying this video card isn't so good get this next thing you know im going way over my budget.
