i cant get in dos hmm what did i do

try pressing either F8-F9-F10 as the pc is booting up. Basically keep hitting the key as soon as you power up.

i did that and it will not let me format i have the 6 boot disks and it will not boot from that

ewww...hmmm.I'm honestly not sure. I just boot to DOS and fix the boot file and that normally solves my issues. I would suggest trying to find someone with a boot disk you could use.

okay so i fixed that but now my windows is acting funny it took 5 hrs to format and then it will not let me connect my network card and if i try a quick format it sed my HD can not hold windows folder whats going on with my dell 2400
