Not necessarily, i have a collection of over 2300 records (33's) average 10 songs each, thats 23000 Songs, i nowhere paid near 1$ per song. Some albums i got for 0.50$ Although i only have ~6000 songs.. mp3 and wma lossless in my pc.

Plus, MP3 Downloads just can't compete, quality-wise, to a real CD either played straight, or ripped Lossless.
