If you run a program, say prime95, when you look at the task manager does it show load on all four cores? Or just two?

You can disable / enable cores in BIOS.

That board was a PAIN. If you can return it, return it ASAP.

If not, clear your CMOS and see if all four cores are recognized by CPUZ or Coretemp.

Update I got all 4 cores now and I'm happy enabled a couple more settings and away we go

Thanks for the input helped me to think logically now to torture test and get some 3dmark scores try to bump up the clock some more too but first lap time lol got my heatsink lapped now for the CPU

Yes it has been a pain but then I love a challenge it is stable so far so I'll stick with it
