Just need a short anwers. It's look like Abit IP35 pro is the good one. Still need suggestions. Are there any reason to go with X38 or X48 boards?
Thanks

my problem is when i get to around 4150 on most mobos i seem to run into a problem, with my current P5E3 i can get around 4122 with the DFI x38 it was about 4.2 MAX but with the gigabyte as you can see in the link i provided the sky was the limit.

If you can afford it,
Buy here:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813186144

Review here: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=187156

designed from the ground up with Quad cores in mind, a few people have already hit 400-450 FSB on Quads, and 550+ on Dual cores.

Rest assured that is the best motherboard on the planet right now that is X48 chipset. The BIOS is hand written by Shamino one of the best overclockers in the world... for instance your able to set cpu Vcore up to 2.2V, and have access to all memory latency sub timings you will not find anywhere else.

The only motherboard that can even compete with it is the DFI UT X48-T3R which you can see here which will run you about $400 as well. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=188122

you can tell me that all you want but at that price and in this situation it aint worth ****. also dont get me started on those dfi boards. this build doesnt require "the best" just very good and at a reasonable price.

I will OC the Q6600 with Tuniq Tower so the ideal number is around 3.6GHz (400x9). I need the board can do that stable. Higher 450FSB may not need for this build. The budget is $250. I just see the Abit IP35 pro $130 AR at Newegg, pretty tempting.
