Im looking at buying SLI of either of these. Do they seem good. Also i know the second one is a little better but 20$ more would it be worth it?

i know you said 300 bucks, but i would recommend you go with evga on this one. register these cards as soon as you get em and you get the advanced rma, if it breaks, they cross ship you a new one. plus with a lifetime warranty, how can you go wrong?

That evga is starting to get a little pricey. I can get both the zotac's for 240. Those are going to be like 280. They seem to have the same specs but the evga does have the lifetime warranty which im not sure if i will need considering the cards will probably out dated in a year or so. What do you think?

Buddy you won't be able to play crysis lag free at very high or high unless your using low resolution. As for video card I would try to wait for the 9800GX2, cause 2 8800GT are garbage.

Tom's Hardware disagrees with your arrogance.

SLI 8800gt outperforms the 9800gtx and the 9800gx2:

ok so I just got done looking at test for like every card and it is now clear that the 8800GT is the superior card then that of the 9600GT. Now it just comes down to if i want to spend the extra amount to get the 8800s

I have SLI 8800GTX and I cant play crysis with any AA or AF...only very high at about 1600 by 1200 resolution...with less than 10 fps so the 8800 series well it's no good unless you want to play old games.

Is that the G80 or G92 8800gtx? Are they overclocked? Is your processor overclocked? I was under the impression that a pair of 8800gtx should be able to play Crysis well, easily.

Hoping to give you the benefit of the doubt and say this was a typo? 9600GT faster than a 9800GX2?
