Anybody care to enlighten me on what else they do to be considered gaming keyboards and why that's so important to gaming?
TBH this is the best gaming keyboard money can buy, its sooo nice and flat and each key is programmable. It's cheap too I think that I got it for like $15. I agree with you though, gaming keyboards are a waste of money. Generally speaking a good keyboard for gaming would be one thats flat (low profile) and the keys cant stick up much and have to be really responsive.

Christ sake.

Can't they release left-handed versions for once?. or better yet, make them bloody symmetrical!?.

The OCN keyboards look nice though. much better than my Eclipse II....

That second keyboard in the middle looks awesome. I hope they keep prices of these peripherals sensible, usually anything labeled gaming has a license to cut consumers throat with their prices.

IMHO, all these so called "gaming" products aren't so much necesary or useful for the average gamer. I rarely use the functions for gaming.

However, as a computer power user, especially one that uses a computer all day, everyday. I love "gaming" they are precise, durable, responsive and most of all ergonomic. The quality of the product is there.

I'm a CAD Drafter, I could not live without the macros on my G15
The thumb button and left/right tilt on my G5 mouse
the smooth accurate flow of my Func 1030.
Volume dial in the middle of my keyboard? i'd die witout it.

I never use my macro keys when gaming. I never use the tilt wheel for gaming. I do use the "windows lock". but that's about it.
