From what i'm seeing on some sites, these boards are prety nice. Low power consumption, good overclocking, lots of nice features, ICH10R, etc etc etc...
I guess i'll be going for either Gigabyte EP45-DQ6 or X48-DQ6. The X is a proven performer, and the P45 can't be worse than the P35...

Neither, 750i FTW edition. It wont limit your overclock since you are running dual core and you will have the option for sli down the road.

And after much frustration with nVidia chipsets, jamracing wants to go with Intel.

I'll tell you what, I went for the Striker because of the Nvidia 780, and got burnt. Bad...
After owning the Gigabyte X38-DQ6, this board is a nightmare! I got higher CPU speeds from my E6550 (on the X38) than I got from my E8400 (on the striker)...that, my friends, is sad.
I guess the old saying is right: If it ain't broken, don't fix it (you idiot).

I would have to agree with the P5Q deluxe its a beautiful board Im pretty sure it will be my next Intel build either the Deluxe or the premium the Deluxe will cost around 220.00 and is due out in the US sometime in June. the Nvidia 700 series had several issues your not the only 1 that got burnt.
