I ran orhos and got this message:

FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.49609375, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.
Torture Test ran 0 minutes 12 seconds - 1 errors, 0 warnings.
Execution halted.

My system is running ok after overclock at
3.0Ghz
Vcore temp: 1.17v
everything else is auto

It says consult stress.txt file. I can't see a file like that any where.

hate to say it but your OC is not stable and MAY cause random lockups, miscalculations which cause crashes. for your sake i hope you are only using it for games.

try take it OFF auto and bumping the vcore by adding a few .01 of a volt and run it 10+ hours.

yup, there is no way that your machine is stable if it spits out an error message after 12 seconds. being able to boot windows and browse the web without crashing is not a test of stability.

BTW. i dont know what voltage exactly you should be using, but i think the volts you are using is insufficient.

get Core Temp and start your voltage at whatever # shows up under "VID"

what i did rather than spend weeks running tests is to only test for 10-30 min before jumping to the next speed. if it failed i just upped the volts and tested again. i continued till i was happy / uncomfortable about going further. then go .01 higher than usual then test for 10+ hours. it might help to set the ram to 1:1 and to up the volts on the ram about .1v from 1.8 to 1.9 to reduce the chance of failure. and dont change the timings on the ram( at least until you finish the CPU).

good luck!

Ok I will follow all advice. By the way this pc is used for music production. Which basically doe's stress the cpu if I have alot of dynamic processors and virtual instruments loaded.

Core temp VID says 1.2875v

thats basically the recommended voltage to run stable at stock. you really shouldn't need to go up on volts if you only went to 3.0ghz, but you will if you go above that. just keep under 1.5v and post back on your progress.
