Need a new wireless router...

Thread Starter
Sup /b/, wait, OCN

Anyway, I need to get a new wireless router. It needs to have a few things...

1. Looooong range. It'll be going through a ceiling and two rooms...
2. Long DHCP leases. My current router kicks me off every so often and I have to restart my rig.
3. Low price, brand doesn't matter, as long as it lasts 3 months, I'll be happy.

Well I have a Belkin N1 Vision and it suits my needs fine. The range is excellent and passes through walls good.

I you want, there is the Belkin N1.

There is also the Netgear Draft RangeMax, D-link draft extreme and the LINKSYS WRVS4400N .

All in all you have to spend at least $90 to buy yourself a good wireless router that suites your needs. You will not regret it. It will last you more than 3 moths.

I echo on the Belkins. I also have an N1 vision and it is absolutely awesome. I was torn between it and the N1, and I decided to spring the extra money for the Vision. But to my knowledge they both have the same insides and both work the same.

Yes, it's a good router, but I wanted N, which is just better. I upgraded from the Speedbooster version of this router. It was good, it's been around a while, and it's mostly reliable, but I did have more boot-off problems with it than I do with my Belkin.
