(Looking at your rig, 4GB of RAM can also be a problem for these boards, it seems, particularly if it's 4X1GB sticks. If that's your set-up, you might want to try raising your FSB with only 2 sticks (2 GB). You may be able to put the other two GBs of RAM back in later, by raising NB volts, but let's get your FSB/clock speed up first.)
i'm actually all on auto, but being on auto and stable at 2.69ghz [prime95 12+ hours], i think i should also be stable at 2.7ghz. a buddy of mine and i have the exact same setup and he can auto to 3.2ghz easily. we swapped cpus, memory, and psu and i still run into the same problem. i think it's my mobo. i don't qualify for evga's step-up program.
...is it time for a new setup?
