And I didn't feel like owning 2 pairs of $200 cans, or else I would have a pair of SR-225s.
I still want to listen to some higher end grados, specifically the SR225s or RS2/RS1s... I loved the airy, natural feel to the sound, but not the "punch you in the face" style the sound was delivered.

IF you really want Senheiser no question about it the HD555 over the 515 .

But i would still recommend the MS-1
what, for £40-50, tell me where...

Wow, that's a crazy price. That's like $60 USD.

I've worn quite a few headphones, and the HD555s are easily the most comfortable I've ever worn.

Denon D2000/D500 are supposed to be more comfy, but not substantially and they're much more expensive.

Yeah the D2000 is very comfortable, but if you have a narrower head you will have fit issues, as there is pretty much no clamping force. The D2000 is also heavy, you do notice it sometimes.

For a smaller head, I do agree that you'll be hard to find something more comfortable than the HD5xx, maybe the DT770, certainly not Grados/Alessandros, comfort is my only issue with them.

DT770s clamp too much. They're certainly not uncomfortable, but they're not as comfy as the HD555.
