Yeah I figured out how to do ftp functions with python so I want to rewrite it in python to lesson the need of OS specific calls. I think I'm going to break it up into multiple projects. We'll continue on the Linux one first. Then I want to move to the Linux GPU hack. After those two are up a mac port shouldn't be too difficult and then we can move to a Windows one. I'm going to re-write a list of priorities tonight and we can discuss those.
So I can get to working on something. I was going to update my linux script and add in stuff for FreeBSD and rewrite the Perl GUI in C to cut out some dependencies. Sound good? I plan to do it all tonight. I thought the more flexible and a few dependencies (bash, C are standard, same with gtk and cairo on 99% of distros) would be the best way to go. What do you think?
