trying prime95 on it for 12 hours

I also put the gtl ref on the north bridge to 0.67x vcore
I have left the memory at 1.85v
but this is the most stable I have had it above 375 ever

looks like it might be the strap and gtl on the north bridge

roll on my water cooling

vdrop is down to 1.44 maybe 1.43v
but there is an option in the bios to impprove vdrop over the intel spec and I have that selected
nice man

BTW if u have that Vdrop you mention 1.44 - 1.43 and you say the VID of that chip was 1.2875, may can try to improve those temp, lowing the Vcore as i can see you dont losing many voltage under load, try 1.40 vcore ohh also try FSB 450 x 8 multi to hit 3.6 GL let me know how it goes

it made it through 3 hours of prime on large fft then I went to bed , but the bugger had rebooted over night .......so i have no idea when it crashed
unless there is a log in prime ( not at home at the mo anybody know if prime has a rolling log ??)

this seems to be the norm I don't get occt or prime failing I just get system reboots ???

is that normal ???

at 1.40v it fails occt at 420 x 8 ( that was on a 333 strap though )

i was just wondering weather the south bridge might be some of the problem
I have 5 x 1TB drives 1 system drive and 2 x raids on the south bridge
do you think I would need to up the voltage ?? currently I have it on 1.02 v ( from memory) ithink it will go to 1.5v.

vcore too low? My guess is going to be that or the strap = bad.

right I am stable at 24 hours of prime now.

I m at 3.30Ghz ish @ 367 x 9 on a 400 strap ddrs 3 at 1510 ish
with a Vcore at 1.3875 ( vid is 1.2875 ) .

I actually think I had too many volts on the northbridge at 1.55v and 1.60v on the cpu pll termination .
but anyway I now have a base to start from 375 next
