Wait or Buy now? Help appreciated!!

Ok, I am planning to do a sick summer build in the next few months and I am going to be spending a boatload on my components. But after doing all the necessary research I have found myself with a few questions.

Should I buy the Q9450 now or wait for the Q9650 price drop to $510?
Or should I just get a 6700?

As far as video cards go, should I buy the 9800 gx2 SSC or wait for the release of the gt280?

I am also looking for very good DDR3 ram 1600mhz+ with reasonable latency, if anyone could link me to some with decent prices it would be a great help. Currently i'm looking at OCZ Flex II DDR3 2000mhz because of its speed and price(CL8-8-8 timings and $310).

Thanks.

Hmmm....

Personally I like the Q6600 with GO stepping because you can overclock it like mad. You will see more and more apps supporting quad core in the near future. But, if you had to have the Q9650 or Q9450 I would say wait because unless you upgrade processors every 6 months you will have it for a while to come and the price drop is not that far off.

I would stick with the 9800 GX2.

I will get on the DDR3 link...

They have polls going on right now with that exact question. No one knows for sure, but a lot of people figure around $600 and possibly more. It is all speculation at this point.

Here is a general link at the Egg for DDR3... and here is a link for what seems to be the best bang for your buck and performance with OCZ Reaper.

Hope that helps!
