Ran orthos/prime95 stable for 24hrs then restarted comp and checksum bios error popup

Thread Starter
I overclock my e8400 @ 3.8ghz with 1.30v. Did primos/orthos stable for 24 hours, then i restarted my computer and i get a post error;checksum bios error, it gave me an option to choose which profile to load, then after sucessfully booitng up the comp, i change the bios to previous 3.8ghz settings. Why did iget a checksum bios setting @ restart, how should i fix it, bump up the vcore by 1 notch or bump up the northbrige or the memory.

You need to fill in your complete system specs here, it's hard to give advice when we don't know the specifics of your system.

Which test did you run, small/large ffts, blend or other?

OK I filled in my spec, and I ran both primos and orthos using blend test.

Nice

What speed is your ram running, have you ran memtest yet?

Also, is it 2x2 or 4x1 gigs.
