The only games I'm really worried about are Starcraft 2 and Warhammer. Last I heard, Warhammer wasn't done getting graphical updates.

2 gigs will be fine. If you really think once its installed your running a bit slow you can always run the page file.

You wont have any problems running starcraft 2 or warhammer at all. The only way you will run into problems is if you are running multiple memory hungry things at once as other people have mentioned.

Wow... I guess none of these people have tried playing BF2 or BF2142 in Vista yet...

Seriously, if those are games that you like to play... you'll need 3 gigs.
Every other game I've played has been fine with 2 gigs. But I gotta buy more ram before I can play BF2 or 2142.

I didn't like BF2, or BF2142. Lol. The only shooter I play is Unreal Tournament 3. The only shooter I plan on playing in the future is L4D.
