Adobe Flash Player and Firefox

Thread Starter
Okay everytime I try to watch anything in flash in Firefox, it plays the first 2 seconds and then stops. If I move the bar, it plays 2 more seconds and then stops. It only does this in firefox. I can open it in IE and it will work just fine. Now I've tested this and tried it and it does it on my XP machine and my Vista Ultimate x64 machine so it's not a 64 bit error. Now I've got Vista Ultimate x64 on my laptop too and it works just fine on my laptop and I've never had a problem at all but I've never updated the version of FF from the one I've installed.

Anyone else have this problem as well?

I had exactly the same problem as you.
The steps i tried were: Tried uninstalling plugin, and installing earlier version (2 versions back if i recall)
Cleared Firefox's cache, minimised how much cache it can have, and even change Firefox's user folder to my other hard disk.
I cleared my session, closed all open tabs, and after that i havent had a problem.
Hope something works out for you, it was really irritating!

Also had the same issue but with FF2. I did the uninstall thing and it worked for a while afterward. Now I'm on FF3 beta and its alright.
